How to Create a Solo Roaming PvP/Ganking Build in Albion Online

Recently I decided to try and create a solo roaming pvp/ganking build. It is based on a lot of movement speed, cc, and maximum damage potential for a quick burst on unsuspecting targets. I replaced several numbers with X in abilities due to damage scaling based on weapon and armor tier.

Weapon Choice: Claws

Ability 1: Sunder Armor- An attack dealing X damage, and reducing the target's Armor and Magic Resist by X for X seconds. (Stacks up to 3 times.) Cast time: Instant CD: 3s

Ability 2: Dash- Dash towards targeted area. Cast time: Instant CD: 10s Infiltration- Set a destination that you will jump to after a short delay, releasing a smoke bomb at your destination. The bomb deals X damage, and stuns any enemy target in the area for X seconds.

Ability 3: Disembowel- Roots an enemy in place while continuously dealing X damage to the target. Cast time: Channeled CD: 30s

Ability 4: Aggression- Your auto attacks deal 10% more damage. Energetic- 10% chance to gain energy on each hit.

Armor Choice: Full Light Leather (Aggression on all)

Light Leather Hood Chosen ability: Berserker Stance- You enrage, neglecting your defense. Increases Physical & Magical damage by X, but reduces Armor by X for X seconds.

Light Leather Armor Chosen ability: Blink- Teleports the caster to the cursor's position, unless something is in the way. Cast time: Instant CD: 30s Range: 11m

Light Leather Shoes Chosen ability: Refreshing Sprint- Increases your move speed by 96.078% for 3 seconds, and reduces your cooldowns slightly.

Cape, Horse, Bag, Food, and Potions all depend on your funds and what you are willing to lose if death occurs.

Cape- CC Resistance

Horse- Tanky Escape tool (Do not use to engage due to ability cooldowns)

Bag- Carry more loot!

Food- Goat Stew or higher tier equivalent

Potion- Minor Chilling Flask (Slowing AOE for escape/chasing)

The idea of this build is to stay on foot and escape giant groups with your insane movement speed and to initiate and catch solo farmers in red/black zones. With this build you can combo your movement abilities and CD reduction in order to move very fast. One example is Dash>Blink>Sprint>Dash leaving your next blink with less than half of its cooldown left.

I use the light leather due to slightly increased stats over other light gear along with a mix of both physical and magical resistance. Since you do not know who you will face this is a good mix of defense. Because of choosing all cloth gear with aggression, your Physical and Ability damage will be increased by 70% which can be combined with food such as Goat Stew to be increased to a total of 75% damage. If choosing aggression on Claws you will also receive a bonus 10% auto attack damage!

If you are encountering energy problems I would advise switching from aggression on the claws to Energetic (10% chance to gain energy on each hit) rather than switching the sprint due to the CD reduction being vital on this build.

One variation is to run Infiltration on claws in order to force enemies into a sleep. This ability can be used to juke some players due to its teleportation or to force enemies with crowd control breaks to use them early so you can avoid having your Disembowel broken instead.

Please note that while this builds damage potential and movement is high you will be weaker to builds with large amounts of crowd control such as quarterstaves. I do not suggest switching out blink for the chest piece's defensive CDs as it will not be as effective with this build.

Also note that both the Light Leather and Claws are the final tier on the destiny board so this build will take time to grind out the fame needed.

Remember that Albion Online is totally customizable so feel free to mix and match other armor types that you feel may fit! I was inspired to make this build due to the claws Disembowel ability reminding me of Dragon Claws in the game Runescape.

I do hope my experience can also help you!
